Account Manager - Sales

The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships through day-to-day contact, looking for opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell clients, and ensuring clients receive superior customer service. We are looking for a consultative and performance oriented person with online marketing experience that can comfortably interact with Directors of Marketing as well as “C” level executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as primary point-of-contact for the client.
  • Establishes trusted relationships with key decision-makers within the client organization.
  • Proactively finds new ways to build the client’s business and grow account relationships.
  • Leads day-to-day management and optimization of client campaigns.
  • Interacts with agency team to complete projects.
  • Monitors agency/client budgets and billing process to ensure profitibility.
  • Develops detailed campaign plans and presentations including proposals for new business.
  • Manages client expectations regarding timing and delivery of marketing initiatives.
  • Assists in strategy, development, writing of creative briefs.
  • Delivers and explains agency reporting.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of each area of agency’s resources, in order to evaluate recommendations before presenting to the client.
  • Masters and maintains strong knowledge of client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends.

Qualifications

  • Passion for internet marketing and client satisfaction
  • Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years interactive advertising, 8+ years of business experience preferred.
  • Understanding of the overall internet marketing landscape.
  • Experienced with running and overseeing search engine media, email, web and direct marketing campaigns.
  • Day-to-day client management experience.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong quantitative skills.
  • Extremely organized and highly motivated.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Proven client presentation skills.
  • Resourcefulness; the ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Working knowledge of interactive marketing tools and platforms
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project skills.
  • MBA is a plus.
